Microfiber towels are perfect travel companions. They are extremely lightweight and fold up compactly, taking up hardly any space in your luggage. They also dry very quickly.
All Woods & Waves beach towels are made from our proprietary LiteLayerPro material—an exceptionally lightweight and thin fabric. Thanks to its light weight and double weave, the towel dries up to three times faster than conventional cotton towels. The exact drying time depends on the environment: In dry, sunny climates, the towel is often ready for use again after just 5 to 10 minutes. In regions with high humidity, such as parts of Asia, we recommend hanging the towel in the sun to dry, as it is more difficult for it to dry completely overnight.
Thanks to its smooth and finely woven surface, our LiteLayerPro fabric prevents sand from sticking to the towel. This means you can easily shake off the sand after a day at the beach without tedious beating or washing. The towel is guaranteed to stay sand-free.
At 180 cm x 80 cm, it’s the perfect size for lying comfortably on the towel. Yet it’s lightweight and compact for transport and travel.

Don’t worry! The scratchiness of microfiber towels was one of our main motivations for developing the LiteLayerPro material. It’s specifically designed to be pleasantly soft against the skin. Unlike many conventional microfiber towels, which often leave a scratchy feeling, we’ve developed a particularly fine texture. This ensures you feel comfortable both during and after drying off. You can even dry your hair reasonably well with our towel.
Washing at 30°C is perfectly sufficient. No need for a dryer or ironing—just let the towel air dry quickly and easily.
Our travel towel is designed to last. Even after many washes, the towel retains its quick-drying and sand-repellent properties, and the colors remain vibrant.
